Job Title: Public Relations Executive (G1/G2)

Location: 5-day WFO Mumbai HQ

About the Role:

We're looking for a dynamic Public Relations Executive to join our external communications team and help shape the brand's narrative across media, digital, and stakeholder touchpoints. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Public Relations, either at an agency or within an in-house brand communications team, along with a decent understanding of the media landscape; Existing connections within the tech & business media is bonus. The candidate must demonstrate a clear grasp of media engagement, storytelling, and reputation management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and execution of the brand's PR and ext. communication strategies.
  • Draft, edit, and distribute press releases, media pitches, and thought leadership articles
  • Manage media outreach across print, online, and broadcast platforms; maintain updated media lists
  • Coordinate interviews, media interactions, and event participation for leadership
  • Engage with new-age AI tools to enhance design quality and visual storytelling
  • Track and analyse media coverage; prepare periodic PR reports and insights
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, content, HR, etc.) to ensure consistent brand messaging
  • Monitor trends and competitor communication to identify storytelling opportunities & ensure agency coordination

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
  • 1-3 years of relevant PR experience (agency or brand-side)
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with journalists and media professionals
  • High attention to detail, with strong organisational and coordination skills
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Interview Rounds:

  • Step 1: HR sense-check on Qualifications / Expectations
  • Step 2: Short written assignment – to identify one of the most pressing / trending topics with study abroad or AI learning segment and write an opinion piece on behalf of company CEO to elevate his/her voice as market leader; 3 working days to complete.

  • Step 4: Additional Round, if required
