Role & responsibilities

Responsible for contributing to the effective implementation of EHS programs, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment within the manufacturing unit.

  • Support the implementation of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs within the manufacturing unit.
  • Assist in conducting regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.
  • Contribute to the development and enforcement of EHS policies and procedures.
  • Participate in EHS training sessions for employees to foster a culture of safety.
  • Assist in investigating incidents and accidents, supporting the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Monitor and report on waste disposal practices to ensure compliance with environmental guidelines.
  • Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to EHS..
  • Contribute to emergency response planning and drills to enhance preparedness.
  • Any other related task assigned by HOD.

Preferred candidate profile

Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations and standards - Familiarity with manufacturing processes and potential workplace hazards. - Knowledge of emergency response planning and procedures. - Awareness of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.

Skills: Emergency response coordination skills to handle unforeseen events. Training and presentation skills for conducting EHS training sessions. Good Communication and Management skills.

Age: Yrs

Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
