is hiring, but not for your typical role

We're looking for people who want to build a career in professional dog handling and canine behaviour.

No prior experience needed — just an open mind, and a hunger to learn.

As long as you are comfortable around all kinds of dogs (from shy to strong willed) we'll teach you everything else from the ground up.

This is not your standard entry-level role but that's the point

Pet care is one of the fastest-growing industries in the country, and Scooby's Club is trying to change how people understand and work with dogs.

Responsibilities

● Supervision and management of group play

● Monitoring canine body language, play styles and interactions

● Designing & providing daily enrichment programs

● Building personalized report cards summarizing their progress

● Maintaining a fun and safe environment for all our canine guests

Qualifications

● A dog lover & passionate about providing better lives to our canine friends

● Great observational skills & attention to detail

● Fluency in English

● Able to work 6 days a week, including on weekends

● Additional training or certifications in pet care is a plus (not mandatory)

● Experience working or volunteering in a shelter, rescue, or with a vet is a plus
