Job Summary :

The Senior MEP Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, executing, and monitoring all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works across residential and commercial real estate projects. The role involves coordinating with architects, consultants, contractors, and the internal project team to ensure MEP systems are executed as per design, safety standards, and project timelines. The candidate should have strong expertise in costing, estimation, tendering, and site execution for real estate projects.

Job Description – Senior MEP Engineer (Real Estate):

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all MEP activities for real estate projects (residential, commercial, mixed-use).
  • Review and verify MEP designs, drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
  • Prepare costing, estimation, tender documents, and evaluate contractor quotations.
  • Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and consultants for design finalization.
  • Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, HVAC, and ELV systems.
  • Ensure compliance with IS codes, safety standards, and local building regulations.
  • Monitor project progress, track MEP timelines, and address site-based technical issues.
  • Conduct quality inspections and ensure proper execution as per approved drawings.
  • Manage MEP vendors, subcontractors, and negotiate technical and commercial terms.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly MEP status reports for management.
  • Provide value engineering solutions to optimize cost and improve efficiency.
  • Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (preferred).
  • 5–10+ years of experience in MEP engineering for real estate projects.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP design standards, costing, and site execution.
  • Hands-on experience in tendering, BOQ preparation, and contractor evaluation.
  • Good understanding of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing layouts, fire-fighting, and ELV systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, project management tools (optional: E-Plan / Dialux / ETAP depending on requirement).
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹600, ₹800,000.00 per year
