Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize production line layouts, material flow, and workstation balancing.
  • Support New Product Introduction activities by defining line setup, takt time, and equipment needs.
  • Develop and maintain time studies, standard work, and process documentation.
  • Lead and support process improvements through Kaizen, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
  • Define and implement PFMEA, Control Plans, and Line balancing for all SKUs.
  • Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams for Design for Manufacturing and continuous improvements.
  • Evaluate and deploy automation and fixture solutions in coordination with product and test engineering.
  • Support cost reduction initiatives through waste elimination and productivity improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, 5S, and ESD protocols.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Electronics, or related discipline.
  • 4 - 8 years of hands-on experience in an EMS setup or OEM manufacturing of electronics in a multi-product assembly line setup.
  • Strong understanding of PCBA assembly, box build, FATP (Final Assembly Testing & Packaging) processes.
  • Experience with hearables, wearables, or small form-factor devices is preferred.
  • Proficient in tools like AutoCAD, Line balancing software, and IE tools (Time study, MOST, MTM).
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and capacity planning tools.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Experience working with contract manufacturers .
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma or Industrial Engineering methods is a plus.
