Position Overview:
Director Architecture & Designs will lead the architectural design and project execution functions of the organization. This role involves overseeing the planning, design development, approvals, and execution of architectural and construction projects from concept to completion. The GM will ensure all projects align with corporate vision, aesthetic standards, quality benchmarks, budgets, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:1. Strategic Leadership
- Define and implement architectural and project strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee master planning, design management, and execution for all new and ongoing projects.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop sustainable design and construction practices.
2. Design Management
- Lead internal and external design teams in developing innovative and cost-effective architectural concepts.
- Review and approve design proposals, working drawings, BOQs, and material specifications.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory codes, safety norms, and environmental standards.
3. Project Planning & Execution
- Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle — from concept, design, approvals, tendering, and construction to handover.
- Develop project budgets, schedules, and quality standards; monitor performance against KPIs.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and government authorities for timely approvals and delivery.
4. Team Management
- Build and mentor a high-performing architecture and project management team.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
5. Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with senior management, clients, and external partners to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Represent the organization in design reviews, coordination meetings, and client presentations.
6. Quality, Cost & Compliance
- Implement value engineering and cost-control measures without compromising design intent.
- Ensure all project activities comply with legal, safety, and environmental requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch); Master's degree (M.Arch / MBA in Project Management) preferred.
- Experience: 15–20 years in architecture, design, and project management, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Industry Exposure: Real estate development, infrastructure, hospitality, commercial or institutional projects.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and project management capabilities.
- Expertise in architectural design, construction management, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in design and project management tools (AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
- Strategic thinking with an eye for design detail and quality.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹80, ₹100,000.00 per year
