Server & Cloud Engineer
to join our dynamic team and help drive innovation in server management, virtualization, and cloud technologies.

Role Overview

As a Server & Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining robust server infrastructure and cloud-based environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, security, and performance of our IT systems, while also driving initiatives to modernize our cloud and virtualization strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain
    Windows/Linux servers
    , virtualization platforms, and hybrid cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP).
  • Manage and optimize
    VMware, Hyper-V, and containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes)
    .
  • Implement and monitor
    backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions
    .
  • Ensure
    server security and compliance
    through patch management, access controls, and threat monitoring.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide
    Tier 3 support
    for escalated incidents.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Document configurations, processes, and architectural designs for knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
    , or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 3+ years of experience as a
    Server Administrator, Systems Engineer, or Cloud Engineer
    .
  • Strong knowledge of
    Windows Server, Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS/RHEL)
    , and virtualization platforms.
  • Proven expertise in at least one major cloud provider (
    AWS, Azure, or GCP
    ).
  • Hands-on experience with
    networking, firewalls, and load balancers
    .
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.

Preferred Skills

  • Certifications such as
    AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, RHCE, VMware VCP, or MCSE
    .
  • Knowledge of
    monitoring tools
    (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Nagios).
  • Familiarity with
    security best practices
    (ISO, SOC2, GDPR, or NIST frameworks).
  • Strong scripting skills in
    PowerShell, Bash, or Python
    .
