Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver Cognos-based BI projects from initiation to closure.
  • Develop, consolidate, and optimize reports using Report Studio and Framework Manager.
  • Work with SQL and other database tools for data extraction and transformation.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Lead a team of developers/analysts (if applicable) and ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Maintain quality standards in report development and project delivery.
  • Optional: Apply Agile / Scrum practices if certified or experienced.

Skills & Requirements:

Must-Have:

  • Strong experience in Cognos (Report Studio, Framework Manager)
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Experience with BI tools (Tableau / Power BI – optional/bonus)
  • Experience in Report Consolidation & Optimization
  • Strong Project Management experience in IT/BI projects

Optional / Good-to-Have:

  • Scrum Master Certification or SAFe Certification
  • Experience with cross-functional team management
  • Exposure to multiple industries (Finance, Insurance, IT, etc.)
