We are seeking an experienced
Cognos Administrator
to manage, maintain, and optimize IBM Cognos Analytics environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Cognos administration, performance tuning, security management, and troubleshooting, along with a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and BI architecture.

Job Requirements

Details:
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and administer
IBM Cognos Analytics (BI)
environments (including upgrading and patching).

Manage
Cognos servers
, dispatchers, and content stores across development, testing, and production environments.

Perform
user and group security administration
using LDAP/Active Directory integration

Monitor and optimize Cognos server performance, conduct regular maintenance, and ensure system availability.

Handle
backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning
for Cognos content and configurations.

Prepare documentation related to configuration, migration, and troubleshooting activities.

*Required Skills & Experience:
4+ years of hands-on experience as a
Cognos Administrator*
.

Proficiency in
Cognos Configuration, Content Store management
, and
Dispatcher architecture
.

Experience in
security implementation
(authentication, authorization, LDAP integration).

Experience in
Cognos logging, auditing, and performance tuning
.
