1. Job Objective / Purpose
To ensure the quality of aluminium formwork panels, components, and accessories through systematic inspection, testing, and process control, thereby meeting client specifications, safety standards, and organizational quality objectives.
2. Key Responsibilities
l Inspect incoming raw materials (aluminium billets, extrusions, hardware) as per quality standards.
l Conduct in-process inspections during fabrication, machining, anodizing/painting, and assembly of aluminium formwork panels.
l Carry out final inspection of finished panels before dispatch to project sites.
l Develop and implement quality control plans, checklists, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
l Identify and record non-conformities, recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
l Coordinate with production, design, and purchase teams to ensure adherence to specifications.
l Monitor calibration of measuring instruments and testing equipment.
l Prepare and maintain quality inspection reports, rejection analysis, and MIS reports.
l Support project/site teams in resolving quality issues during erection and dismantling of formwork.
l Participate in internal audits, ISO audits, and client inspections.
3. Key Skills & Competencies
l Knowledge of aluminium formwork systems, fabrication, and finishing processes.
l Proficiency in quality tools (7 QC tools, CAPA, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis).
l Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards, welding inspection, and material testing methods.
l Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
l Good communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams
4. Educational Qualification
l B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical / Civil / Metallurgy Engineering (preferred).
l Diploma with relevant experience can also be considered.
5. Experience Required
l 2–5 years of experience in quality assurance/quality control in formwork, aluminium fabrication, or construction equipment industry.
l Exposure to ISO audits and client inspections preferred.
6. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
l % Rejection / Rework rate.
l On-time completion of inspections.
l Number of non-conformities detected and resolved.
l Client/site satisfaction on quality support.
Compliance with ISO and internal quality standards.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25, ₹32,000.00 per month
