Key Responsibilities

  • Business Planning:
  • Lead the annual operating plan, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Collaborate with business units to align financial targets with strategic objectives.
  • Continuously monitor performance against plan and recommend course corrections.
  • Business Reporting & Analytics (Daily / Weekly / Monthly)
  • Prepare timely and accurate management reports on revenue, costs, margins, and overall financial performance.
  • Develop dashboards and MIS for regular performance tracking across key KPIs.
  • Ensure variance analysis is conducted to highlight deviations from plan and their root causes.
  • Insights from Analytics
  • Translate financial data into meaningful insights for decision-making.
  • Identify business trends, risks, and opportunities through deep-dive analytics.
  • Provide recommendations to improve profitability, efficiency, and growth.
  • Driving Cost Efficiencies
  • Partner with functional teams to identify areas of cost optimization.
  • Benchmark costs against industry standards and track savings initiatives.
  • Implement monitoring mechanisms to ensure sustainable efficiency improvements.
  • Decision Support for Pricing & Costing
  • Provide financial models and sensitivity analyses to support pricing strategies.
  • Evaluate cost structures and advise management on optimal pricing decisions.
  • Ensure pricing decisions are aligned with profitability goals and market dynamics.
  • Evaluation of Capex Decisions
  • Build financial models to assess capital expenditure proposals.
  • Conduct ROI, payback period, and NPV analysis for investment decisions.
  • Track actual performance of capex projects versus business cases.
  • Evaluation of New Business Cases
  • Support business development by analyzing new initiatives, partnerships, or market entry opportunities.
  • Prepare business cases, scenario models, and feasibility studies.
  • Highlight financial risks, synergies, and scalability factors for new projects.
  • External Reporting
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for investors, lenders, and regulatory stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable reporting standards and external audit requirements.
  • Partner with corporate finance teams to support fundraising and investor relations.
