Functional Skills:

·      Identify, evaluate, and develop vendors/suppliers for Raw Materials (APIs, excipients, packaging materials, etc.) as per company requirements.

·      Handle new product development procurement needs – sourcing RM as per R&D and new approvals.

·      Coordinate for documentation: DMFs, COAs, regulatory approvals, vendor qualification documents, etc.

·      Ensure timely procurement of raw materials for smooth production without stock-out situations.

·      Maintain vendor database, supplier agreements, and purchase records.

·      Coordinate with QA/QC, Regulatory Affairs, Production, R&D, and Store teams for material approval and technical requirements.

·      Follow up with transporters/logistics partners for smooth and timely delivery of RM.

·      Monitor market trends, identify alternative suppliers, and maintain cost competitiveness.

·      Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory, and audit requirements related to vendor and RM purchase.

·      Prepare and share MIS reports on procurement, vendor performance, and cost savings.

Behavioral Skills:

·      Education: B.Sc. / M.Sc or B. Pharma / M. Pharma.

·      Experience: Minimum 1 year in purchase/procurement of Raw Materials in Pharma (finished formulations preferred).

·      Knowledge of DMF, regulatory documentation, and vendor management is essential.

·      Good communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.

·      Ability to work with cross-functional teams (QA, RA, Production, R&D, Store).
