Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and hardworking Commis to join our bakery team. The ideal candidate should have basic baking knowledge, be eager to learn, and assist in preparing high-quality bakery products while maintaining hygiene and kitchen standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing bread, pastries, cakes, cookies, and other bakery items.
  • Follow recipes and instructions given by senior chefs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the bakery section at all times.
  • Ensure ingredients are properly measured, stored, and handled.
  • Support in daily production and help meet order requirements.
  • Learn and apply new techniques under supervision.
  • Assist in inventory management and stock rotation (FIFO).
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Certification in Bakery & Confectionery or relevant field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen (freshers can apply).
  • Basic knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
