1 Job Summary:

The IT Networking Salesperson is responsible for promoting and selling networking solutions, hardware, and services to businesses and organizations. This includes identifying customer needs, proposing suitable IT networking solutions, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets. The role requires a solid understanding of networking technologies and strong communication and negotiation skills.

2 Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the IT networking domain.
  • Promote and sell networking products such as switches, routers, firewalls, servers, and wireless solutions.
  • Understand clients' IT infrastructure requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver product presentations, proposals, and quotations to clients.
  • Collaborate with technical and pre-sales teams to design customized networking solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and channel partners.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Stay up to date on market trends, competitor activities, and new networking technologies.
  • Handle tender documentation, RFPs, and customer follow-ups.
  • Coordinate post-sales support with technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

3 Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Any degree
  • Experience: 0–2 years of experience in IT networking or technology sales (depending on role seniority).
  • Technical Knowledge:
  • Networking fundamentals (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, Firewalls, Switching, Routing).
  • Familiarity with brands such as Cisco, HP, Dell, Fortinet, etc.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong customer relationship management abilities.
  • Target-driven with strong business acumen.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office.

4 Preferred Certifications:

  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

5 Compensation:

Competitive base salary + commission/incentive structure based on sales performance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹25,000.00 per month
