REPORTING TO Plant Head/ Supply Chain Management

OBJECTIVE The Senior Fleet Executive role involves overseeing the efficient operation and maintenance of the company's fleet of vehicles. This position is crucial for ensuring that all logistical aspects of the fleet are optimized, compliant with regulations, and cost-efficient.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company's fleet
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules and repairs for all vehicles
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations
  • Manage driver schedules and assignments
  • Optimize fleet utilization to minimize operational costs
  • Monitor fuel consumption and implement fuel efficiency strategies
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping of all fleet-related activities
  • Coordinate with insurance providers and handle claims
  • Develop and implement fleet management policies and procedures
  • Handle contracts related to Fleet Management, including routine cleaning and maintenance scopes.
  • Adding Divers/Retention of Divers
  • Cost optimisation

JOB SPECIFICATION

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE/AGE (5– 8 years) in Fleet Management or logistics

QUALIFICATION A bachelor's degree or diploma in a relevant field such as logistics, supply chain management, or Transportation.

TARGET INDUSTRIES Manufacturing/FMCG/Auto ancillary/Transportation

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE Manufacturing industry
