About the Role:

We are seeking sharp, curious, and digitally savvy Editorial Interns to join our business editorial team. This internship is ideal for candidates passionate about business journalism, startups, MSMEs, policy, and digital storytelling. You'll gain hands-on experience in researching, writing, editing, and publishing content across web and social platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in writing and editing business news articles, features, and explainers.
  • Research industry trends, government policies, and market movements relevant to MSMEs and startups.
  • Support SEO optimization and metadata tagging for digital content.
  • Help manage editorial calendars and contribute to content planning.
  • Format and publish articles using CMS tools (e.g., WordPress).
  • Create engaging headlines, captions, and social media snippets.
  • Attend editorial meetings and pitch story ideas aligned with business and economic themes.

Requirements:

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Journalism, Business, Economics, Mass Communication, or related field.
  • Strong writing and research skills, with a keen interest in business and policy.
  • Familiarity with digital publishing tools and SEO best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of India's startup ecosystem, MSMEs, and economic policies is a plus.
