Site Service Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Site Service Engineer Turnkey Projects to oversee and manage site execution, including site elevation, installation, commissioning, cabling, and termination activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating with contractors, ensuring proper installation of field instruments, and managing the termination of cables up to control panels. This role demands hands-on expertise in handling site work, Siemens automation experience, ensuring project timelines are met, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Support to Sales Team for Project Enquiry

• Work closely with Sales team and support them to understand Clients automation needs and requirements. Provide technical support and consultations to help sales team & clients choose the best Siemens solutions for their projects.

Site Management & Execution:

• Oversee the complete site execution of turnkey automation and electrical projects.
• Plan and supervise site elevation, installation, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure proper layout, alignment, and execution of all site activities.
• Visit the site for Service Call in Indore, MP region territory / India

Cabling & Termination:

• Handle cabling work, including laying, routing, and termination of power and control cables.
• Ensure proper termination of field instruments and control panels.
• Conduct loop checking and continuity testing of cables.

Installation & Commissioning:

• Supervise the installation of field instruments, sensors, and automation systems.
• Commission control panels, PLCs, and SCADA systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during installation and commissioning.

Contractor & Client Coordination:

• Manage and coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with project schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Liaise with the client and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry standards during site work.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement necessary safety measures.
• Maintain quality control over all site-related activities.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Prepare site reports, work progress updates, and as-built documentation.
• Maintain records of installation, commissioning, and testing activities.
• Provide feedback for improvements in site execution and project delivery.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Education:

• Diploma / B.E in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field.

• Experience:

• 4+ years of experience in site management for turnkey projects, industrial automation, or industrial installations.

• Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of cabling, laying, termination, and field instrument installation.

• Hands-on experience with SIEMENS PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, control panels, and industrial automation systems.

• Expertise in electrical and instrumentation drawings, wiring, and troubleshooting.

• Soft Skills:

• Strong leadership and coordination abilities.

• Excellent communication skills for interacting with contractors and clients.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.

• Other Requirements:

• Willingness to travel and work at project sites.
