Assistant Event Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Event Planning & Coordination

  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of resort events from inquiry to execution.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their event requirements, budgets, and preferences.
  • Prepare event proposals, contracts, and cost estimates.
  • Work closely with F&B, housekeeping, front office, and other resort departments to ensure seamless execution.
  • Arrange décor, entertainment, audio-visual setup, and logistics as per event theme.

Client Relations & Sales Support

  • Conduct site visits and event briefings with clients.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
  • Support the sales team in promoting event spaces and packages.
  • Handle guest feedback professionally and ensure client satisfaction.

Operations & Administration

  • Prepare detailed event orders, timelines, and checklists.
  • Manage vendors and suppliers for décor, lighting, and entertainment.
  • Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown.
  • Ensure compliance with resort standards and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain reports on event performance, budgets, and post-event evaluations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in event coordination, preferably in a resort or hotel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and customer-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and event management tools/software.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20, ₹25,000.00 per month
