Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a QS and Planning Engineer based in Hyderabad. The role involves detailed quantity surveying, preparation of estimates, budgetary management, and cost control throughout the entire construction project lifecycle. It requires preparation of project timelines and schedules, analysis for progress tracking, and assisting in project planning. The QS and Planning Engineer will also coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Quantity Surveying and Budget Management, and experienced in preparing cost estimates and ensuring cost optimization.
  • Skilled in Project Planning, Scheduling, and Progress Monitoring to ensure timely execution of projects.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools and software used in construction project management, such as MS Project or Primavera.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Relevant educational qualifications such as a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams including architects, contractors, and clients.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and quality standards in the construction field is highly beneficial.
  • Previous experience in the construction industry, particularly in project management or cost estimation, is an advantage.
