Role & responsibilities

  • Equipment Operation:
  • Operate and monitor equipment used in the manufacturing of OSD products, such as granulation equipment, blending machines, tablet presses,
  • Set up machines according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and batch records.
  • Ensure equipment is properly cleaned and maintained to prevent cross-contamination and ensure product quality.
  • Production Execution:
  • Follow batch records, work instructions, and SOPs to manufacture OSD products in accordance with regulatory requirements (GMP, FDA, etc.).
  • Monitor production processes to ensure products are produced within specifications regarding quality, yield, and output.
  • Perform in-process checks and sampling to verify product quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct visual inspections of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Report any deviations or non-conformances to supervisors and assist in investigations and corrective actions.
  • Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner, including batch records, logbooks, and equipment records.
  • Safety and Compliance:
  • Adhere to safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during all operational activities.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of manufacturing areas to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
  • Participate in safety training sessions and follow guidelines for hazardous materials handling and disposal.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors, quality control personnel, maintenance technicians, and other team members to achieve production goals.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth shift handovers and continuity in operations.
  • Support cross-training efforts to enhance flexibility and skill development within the production team.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiency gains, and waste reduction in OSD manufacturing operations.
  • Propose and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to address recurring issues and enhance product quality and productivity.
  • Participate in validation activities for equipment, processes, and cleaning procedures as required.
