Key Responsibilities:

  • Counsel students on courses, career options, and educational pathways.
  • Assist students in identifying their skills, strengths, and interests to align with suitable courses.
  • Provide information about educational programs, colleges/universities, and admission procedures.
  • Guide students through application, admission, and enrollment processes.
  • Organize and conduct counselling sessions, workshops, and seminars for students and parents.
  • Maintain accurate records of student interactions, applications, and follow-ups.
  • Stay updated with trends in education, new programs, and job market requirements.
  • Work closely with faculty, parents, and academic coordinators to support student growth.
  • Assist in resolving student academic or personal challenges affecting their education.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Education, Counselling, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Student Counsellor/Education Counsellor or in a similar role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Empathy, patience, and the ability to build trust with students and parents.
  • Knowledge of career guidance tools, psychometric tests, and educational trends.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and database management.
