We are hiring for a reputed institution in Education sector, which is dedicated to providing quality education and fostering holistic development. As part of its commitment to shaping young minds, they are launching a new PU College in Bangalore, focused on academic excellence, leadership, and community service.

Position Overview:

The Principal will serve as the academic and administrative head of the upcoming PU College, responsible for overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational management. This role demands a visionary educator who can inspire students and staff, foster a positive learning environment, and ensure the college's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership in academic planning, curriculum development, and institutional growth.
  • Ensure high-quality teaching, learning, and academic performance, fostering a student-centric approach.
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of faculty and administrative staff, promoting continuous professional development.
  • Develop and implement policies for effective student management, discipline, and academic support.
  • Oversee admissions, student affairs, examinations, and co-curricular activities to ensure a balanced educational experience.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, community leaders, and educational bodies to enhance the college's reputation.
  • Manage budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation to ensure institutional sustainability.
  • Monitor and evaluate faculty performance, encouraging innovative teaching practices and academic excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with all educational regulations and standards set by the Karnataka Pre-University Board.
  • Drive institutional branding, student enrollment growth, and community outreach initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Education, Arts, Science, or a related field (Ph.D. preferred).
  • Minimum of 15 years of teaching experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or administrative role in a PU or similar educational institution.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage academic operations and lead a diverse team.
  • In-depth knowledge of the PU curriculum and educational best practices.
  • Excellent organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to the holistic development of students and fostering an inclusive educational environment.
