Job Description:

We are looking for an Admission Counselor to join in our Bachpan Play school & Academic Heights Public School. Counselor is the first impression of the school. This role requires you to act as a Face of the school as you are the one with whom parents interact and act as a liaison between the Parents & the School management. They must possess the power of effective communication.

Counselors should Coordinate with parents-staff & create a healthy atmosphere. As a counselor, you will also be tasked with interacting with new admission enquiries and converting them into admissions. Record keeping and organizing all the school data will also be a crucial part of the role. If you worked earlier in a school & have a good experience in counseling check this out.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Following the Admission process set by the school and Counseling parents to convert them into admissions.
  • Tracking and Maintaining all the necessary important documents as laid out by the regional office and the government.
  • Interacting with the teachers to help them plan the necessary academic activities in the school for the students.
  • Interacting with the parents to understand their problems and then closing the feedback loop by conveying the details to the teachers to better understand the students.
  • Analyzing the previous enquiries and following the laid out processes to improve the school strength.
  • Conducting parent orientations so as to ensure that the parents know better about the school.
  • Counselor should have all the information about the academics, school activities, Montessori tools & knowledge of teaching aids

Qualification:

  • Any Graduate or Postgraduate degree.
  • Knowledge of CBSE policies and procedures is a plus.
  • Knowledge about academics and Montessori tools is an added advantage.
  • Strong leadership skills coupled with excellent oral and written communication Skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to use tact, diplomacy, and mature judgment.
  • Strong analytical skills in Microsoft Office to devise specific action plans for schools after understanding their pain points.
  • Ability to work well with cross functional teams.
