Role: Casting Operator

Location: Near to Kadi, Becharaji, Viramgam, Vithalapur

Education: Diploma/ITI

Experience: 2 to 9 years

Objective

To safely and efficiently operate casting equipment for pouring molten metal into Molds, ensuring high-quality castings through proper mold preparation, equipment functionality, and adherence to safety protocols. Committed to maintaining operational standards, removing finished castings, and supporting continuous production in a safe and controlled environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Using hand-controlled mechanisms, pour & maintain liquid metal into molds to create castings
  2. Examining Molds to ensure they are clean, smooth, and properly coated.
  3. Removing of Cast Slab from casting pit
  4. Ensuring production equipment is functioning correctly
  5. Following safety procedures and maintaining safety regulations while handling molten metal

Reporting furnace status, production updates, and any issues during melting operations

Reporting equipment issues, scheduling preventive maintenance

Receiving charge materials, confirming material specs

Ensuring cleanliness of furnace area post operations

Technical Skills

  1. knowledge of Molds preparation.
  2. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  3. A strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
