Melting Supervisor

Position: Melting Supervisor - Foundry (CI & SGI Casting)

Location: [kadi, Thol road]

About Us:
We are a leading foundry specializing in CI (Cast Iron) and SGI (Spheroidal Graphite Iron) castings, serving industries such as automotive, pumps, valves, compressors, and transmissions. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Melting Supervisor to oversee and manage the melting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise day-to-day melting operations for CI & SGI castings.
- Monitor furnace performance, charge mix, and melting cycles to ensure quality output.
- Ensure proper handling of raw materials, alloys, and scrap.
- Maintain records of melting operations, consumption, and output.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and maintenance teams for smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Train and guide furnace operators and helpers for efficiency and safety.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in melting processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Diploma/Degree in Metallurgy, Mechanical, or Foundry Technology.
- 3-5 years of experience in **melting operations (Induction Furnace preferred)** in CI/SGI casting foundry.
- Good knowledge of charge calculations, metallurgy, and casting defects.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage workforce and ensure production targets are met.
