Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Data Science / Data Analytics Manager/ Principal
 with 8–12 years of professional experience to lead data-driven initiatives, manage a team of data scientists and analysts, and deliver actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise in advanced analytics, machine learning, and visualization with proven leadership and business acumen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data scientists, analysts, and engineers
    .
  • Build analytical capabilities and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships across business and technology functions.
  • Data Strategy & Analytics
  • Define and implement data science and analytics strategy
    aligned with organizational goals.
  • Drive adoption of
    data-driven decision-making
    across business units.
  • Translate business problems into
    analytical models, dashboards, and insights
    .
  • Advanced Analytics & Data Science
  • Lead projects in predictive modeling, machine learning, NLP, and AI solutions
    .
  • Drive development of
    customer segmentation, forecasting, recommendation engines
    , and similar use cases.
  • Ensure data models and algorithms are production-ready and scalable.
  • Business Insights & Reporting
  • Oversee the design of interactive dashboards, reports, and KPIs
    using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Ensure delivery of accurate and timely business insights for senior leadership.
  • Work closely with product, marketing, operations, and technology teams to support business objectives.
  • Data Governance & Quality
  • Ensure data integrity, quality, and compliance
    with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with IT/Data Engineering teams for seamless
    data pipelines and architecture
    .
  • Implement best practices for
    data management, versioning, and documentation
    .

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Technical Expertise
  • Strong experience with Python/R, SQL, and data science libraries
    (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Pandas, NumPy).
  • Expertise in
    BI and visualization tools
    (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik).
  • Hands-on experience in
    machine learning, statistical modeling, and data mining techniques
    .
  • Strong knowledge of
    databases (SQL/NoSQL), cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)
    , and big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop preferred).
  • Leadership & Business Acumen
  • Proven experience in managing analytics/data science teams
    (5–15 members).
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to
    translate complex technical insights into business recommendations
    .

Qualifications & Experience

  • B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science, IT, Statistics, or related field (Master's/MBA preferred).
  • 8–12 years of professional experience, with
    at least 4–5 years in data science/analytics leadership roles
    .
  • Proven track record of delivering
    end-to-end analytics and AI/ML solutions
    in enterprise environments.
  • Strong exposure to
    domain-specific analytics
    (finance, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, or others depending on organization focus).
