About the Role:

Optima Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd. is looking for enthusiastic and high-performing fresh graduates from leading B-Schools to join our Marketing Function as Management Trainees. This one-year structured training program is designed to develop future product management professionals in our Poultry Feed Additives business.

Selected candidates will undergo comprehensive learning across marketing, sales, supply chain, and product management functions. Post successful completion of the training period, trainees will be inducted into the Product Management Team as Executives, contributing to brand strategy, product launches, and market development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities (During Training):

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, R&D, Production, and Regulatory departments to understand the full product lifecycle—from concept to commercialization.
  • Support market research, competitor analysis, and customer insight generation to guide strategic decisions.
  • Assist in developing marketing communication, promotional tools, and go-to-market strategies for feed additive products.
  • Participate in field exposure visits and customer interactions with the Sales team to understand market dynamics.
  • Support internal marketing projects, product trials, and data analysis to measure business outcomes.
  • Contribute to team discussions on product performance, pricing, and customer engagement initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Fresh MBA (Marketing, Supply Chain, or Finance specialization) or a Life Sciences graduate with more than 1 year of work experience in Sales/Marketing.
  • Undergraduate degree in Life Sciences (e.g. Microbiology, Zoology, Physiology, Biotechnology etc), Pharmacy, Agriculture or Veterinary Science, preferred.
  • Strong analytical mindset, communication skills, and a drive to build a career in product management.
  • Passion for the animal nutrition and feed industry, with readiness to work in cross-functional and fast-paced settings.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and a comfort level with digital tools and data-driven decision-making.
