Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly crea ve and quality-focused NPD & R&D Chef specializing in frozen cakes

to lead product innova on and recipe development. The role involves crea ng new recipes in line

with brand iden ty, developing menus, and driving innova on while ensuring food safety, hygiene,

and consistency. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills to manage a team of dedicated

chefs and deliver products that align with market demand and consumer preferences.

Key Responsibili es:

 Develop, test, and refine frozen cake recipes and product varia ons as per brand standards.

 Create innova ve menus and product lines that cater to evolving market demand and trends.

 Lead and mentor a team of chefs, ensuring crea vity, precision, and consistency in output.

 Enhance product quality by improving taste, texture, presenta on, and shelf life.

 Conduct trials, tas ngs, and maintain clear documenta on for recipes and formula ons.

 Collaborate with procurement, produc on, and marke ng teams for successful product

launches.

 Research and analyze compe tor offerings, consumer insights, and global market trends.

 Standardize recipes and processes for efficient scale-up in produc on.

 Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards (FSSAI / HACCP) at all

stages.

 Manage R&D resources, raw material inventory, and specialized frozen dessert equipment.

Requirements:

 Degree/Diploma in Culinary Arts, Bakery & Pastry, or Food Technology.

 5–7 years of experience in NPD/R&D within frozen cakes, bakery, or confec onery.

 Strong knowledge of freezing technology, baking science, and ingredient func onality.

 Proven crea vity in recipe development and menu innova on.

 Ability to balance innova on, quality, and commercial viability.

 Experience leading and managing a team of chefs.

 Excellent communica on, documenta on, and cross-func onal collabora on skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,200, ₹1,500,000.00 per year
