The Consumer Products Division (formerly Sakthi Soyas) manages the Soya Sakthi brand and is expanding into new B2C food products.

Role Summary:

The New Product Development Executive will drive the creation and launch of innovative food products. This role involves conducting market research, identifying trends, and working with marketing and production teams to develop products that meet consumer and company goals. The executive, under the guidance of the Research Head, oversees the entire development process, from concept to commercialization, ensuring products are safe, compliant, and cost-effective. Strong project management skills, creativity, and a deep understanding of food science are key for success in this role.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead new product development from concept to commercialization.
  • Conduct research in food chemistry and biochemistry for high-quality products.
  • Perform product testing to ensure safety, quality, and industry compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new products to market.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Tackle problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Oversee NPD lab operations under the Research Head's supervision.

Skills & Requirements:

Qualification:
Bachelor's/Master's in Food Technology, Food Science, or Food Chemistry.

Preferred Industries:
Food Manufacturing, Snack & Extruded foods Min 2 years exp

Skills:
HACCP, Product Development, Sensory Evaluation, MS Office & System Operations, Lab Management.
