Role & responsibilities

Knowledge of Selection, Configuration and Working of the below equipment

LV Motors

Limit Switches, Pressure Switches, DP Switches, Flow Switches, Level switch, Temperature switch, Proximity Switches RTDs, Displays, Thermoelements,Heaters

Electronic transmitters smart type (HART, Profibus, Foundation Fieldbus)

Pressure Transmitters, DP Transmitters, Level Transmitters

On hands experience in calibration and parametrization of transmitters

Electric Control Valves, Solenoid valves, Actuators, Positionors,

Hydraulic equipment, Vibration Velocity Sensors, Vibration Accelerometers, Vibration Control and Monitoring system, Condition Monitoring equipment, Torque Sensors, Strain Gauges

PLC based control systems / VPN connectivity

Electrical Wiring

Design and selection of Junction Boxes, Local Instrument Enclosures, Local Push Button stations, Control Panels based on IP ratings, power ratings, Instruments etc.

Complete understanding of electrical wiring of different instruments, selection of cables, Calculation of Cable sizes, Selection of Terminal blocks, Cable Glands, Tagging, Ferruling, Lugging, and Labeling

Documentation

Creating Wiring drawings, configuration diagrams, Filling up data sheets for all instruments, Creating IO Lists, Electrical Load Lists, Cable Schedules, P&ID Diagrams, Factory Calibration certificates, Test Certificates, Hook-up diagrams, Cable routing diagrams

Standards

Knowledge of DIN, IEC , ATEX, NEMA, UL44 standards pertaining to E&I Specifications

Experience in knowledge and interpretation of handling NTPC, Mecon, Jacobs, TCE, Lahmeyer, Danielli Specifications for Power, Cement, Mining & Minerals Industries, Steel etc.

Software Tools :

E-Plan or similar Electrical CAD software
