Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an L1 EQQ Engineer located in Bhubaneshwar. The L1 EQQ Engineer will be responsible for monitoring and managing enterprise scheduling operations, resolving and escalating job failures, ensuring timely execution of jobs, and collaborating with relevant teams for issue resolution. The engineer will maintain and troubleshoot job scheduling tools and ensure the adherence to established processes and procedures to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in enterprise scheduling and job automation tools such as IBM Workload Scheduler or equivalent
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to analyze and resolve job failures and scheduling errors
  • Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix commands and scripting for system operations
  • Ability to monitor and manage job queues to ensure smooth scheduling and adherence to timelines
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Previous experience in IT operations or job scheduling systems is a plus
