Job Description

This is a remote position.

Overview :

  • Design, develop, and publish Tableau dashboards and reports for claims operations and analytics teams.
  • Gather reporting requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Work with large and complex claims datasets to enable insightful visualizations and reporting.
  • Optimize dashboards and data extracts for performance, scalability, and usability.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all Tableau reports.
  • Collaborate with data teams to validate data sources and models.
  • Support ad-hoc reporting needs and analytics requests from claims stakeholders.
  • Maintain documentation for reports, dashboards, and data sources.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Tableau Developer, preferably in the insurance or financial services domain.
  • Strong understanding of claims processes, metrics, and reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation techniques.
  • Experience working with data warehouses, data marts, and ETL processes.
  • Expertise in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server (publishing, scheduling, security).
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Guidewire ClaimsCenter or other claims systems.
  • Exposure to Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data governance and data quality best practices.
