Store Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee site-level inventory management for civil and MEP materials, tools, and consumables.
- Maintain accurate stock records, receipts, and issue logs using manual and digital systems.
- Coordinate with procurement, site engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile physical vs. recorded inventory.
- Implement FIFO/LIFO systems and ensure proper storage conditions for all materials.
- Monitor material usage and flag discrepancies or wastage to the project manager.
- Ensure compliance with safety and handling protocols for hazardous or sensitive items.
- Support site logistics including unloading, tagging, and secure storage of incoming materials.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong working knowledge of Civil and MEP materials and their site applications.
- Proficiency in inventory control, stock tracking, and documentation.
- Familiarity with storekeeping software/tools and basic Excel reporting.
- Ability to manage high-volume stock flow in fast-paced construction environments.
- Attention to detail, integrity, and proactive communication with site teams.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or ITI in Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
Minimum 7 years of experience in site storekeeping, preferably in civil or MEP projects
