ServiceNow BCM Developer: Concentrates on the technical configuration, coding, and custom application development within the BCM module.

The ServiceNow BCM Implementation Consultant is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the Business Continuity Management (BCM) module. This role translates business needs into technical solutions and guides clients through the planning, design, and deployment phases to enhance their organizational resilience.

Key responsibilities

Solution implementation: Lead the full lifecycle of ServiceNow BCM module implementations, from requirements gathering to deployment and post-go-live support.

Requirements analysis: Conduct workshops with key stakeholders to perform Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) and capture all necessary business, functional, and technical requirements.

Platform configuration: Configure and customize the ServiceNow BCM module, including forms, business rules, workflows, UI policies, and automated reporting, to meet specific enterprise needs.

Integration: Integrate the BCM module with other applications, both within the ServiceNow platform (e.g., ITSM, CMDB, ITOM) and with third-party systems using APIs and web services.

Testing and quality assurance: Develop and execute test cases (UAT, integration, regression) to ensure the solution's quality, functionality, and performance.

Documentation and training: Create comprehensive system documentation, process flows, and training materials for all user types, and conduct training sessions and workshops.

Qualifications and skills

Experience: 3+ years of experience with ServiceNow development and implementation, with at least 2 years focused on the GRC or IRM suite, specifically the BCM module.

ServiceNow expertise: Strong knowledge of the core ServiceNow platform, including the CMDB architecture, and proficiency in client-side and server-side scripting (JavaScript).

BCM knowledge: A solid understanding of business continuity and disaster recovery planning, including concepts like BIAs, RTOs, RPOs, and crisis management.

Certifications:

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is required.

ServiceNow GRC: Business Continuity Management Implementer micro-certification is highly desired.

Other certifications such as Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) are a plus.
