We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Redhat OpenShift Administrator.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and maintain KVM-based virtualization environments, including provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting virtual machines.
  • Optimize KVM performance and ensure high availability of virtualized infrastructure. Implement security best practices for KVM environments
  • Deploy, configure, and manage OpenShift clusters in on-premises and hybrid cloud environments. Monitor and troubleshoot OpenShift workloads, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Manage OpenShift networking, storage, and security configurations. Perform upgrades and patching of OpenShift clusters and associated components.
  • Automate the provisioning, configuration, and management of OpenShift clusters and virtualized workloads
  • Automate VM migration process which include pre-checks, actual migration & post checks
  • Implement monitoring solutions for KVM and OpenShift environments using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
  • Analyze system performance and recommend optimizations for resource utilization and cost efficiency.
  • Work closely with development, DevOps, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure and applications.
  • Document infrastructure designs, processes, and best practices for internal knowledge sharing.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a focus on KVM virtualization and OpenShift administration
  • Strong expertise in managing KVM hypervisors and virtualized environments.
  • Hands-on experience with OpenShift installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Hands on experience with automation tools like Ansible, Terraform etc.,
  • Experience with Linux system administration and shell scripting.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, storage solutions, and security best practices.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
