Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive QA Tech Lead to take charge of the Quality Assurance function for the Fountain Platformour next-gen F&B technology solution.

In this role, youll lead a team of QA engineers to ensure product quality, drive automation, and maintain the highest software delivery standards across our platform.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity requiring both technical depth and strong mentorship capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance Leadership :

  • Review requirements, technical specifications, and design documents to provide critical QA feedback early in the SDLC.
  • Lead the development and execution of test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
  • Collaborate closely with development and product teams to ensure end-to-end coverage.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and be the voice of quality in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time with minimal quality gaps and maximum user satisfaction.
  • Identify testing bottlenecks and proactively suggest mitigation plans.

People & Process Management

  • Mentor and guide QA team members; foster a culture of ownership and quality-first mindset.
  • Coordinate effectively with in-house and outsourced QA teams.
  • Instill agile QA best practices, structured documentation, and proactive reporting.
  • Maintain a people-first approach while upholding rigorous quality standards.

Automation & Technical Contributions

  • Enhance and maintain the existing automation framework for UI and API testing.
  • Ensure critical workflows are automated to improve regression coverage and release velocity.
  • Work with tools like JUnit, Selenium, Postman, JMeter, LoadRunner, etc.
  • Perform performance/load testing and database validations when needed.
  • Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD integration and test automation pipelines.
  • Work within AWS environment leveraging tools like S3, Lambda, SNS/SQS, etc.

Key Requirements
Must-Have :

  • 4+ years of relevant QA experience, with at least 1 year in a lead or mentoring role.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of QA methodologies, test cycles, and industry-standard tools.
  • Proficiency in Java and automation frameworks.
  • Experience with API testing, automation scripting, and database queries.
  • Understanding of performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams with modern QA practices.

Nice-to-Have

  • Knowledge of AWS services like S3, Lambda, and messaging services.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and deployment workflows.
  • Previous experience in IoT platforms or product-based environments is a bonus.
