Job Description :Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and debug embedded firmware and software for various platforms.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in C/C++.
  • Integrate and test embedded software with hardware components.
  • Develop and implement device drivers and communication protocols.
  • Optimize embedded systems for performance, power consumption, and memory footprint.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to troubleshoot and resolve hardware-software integration issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for embedded software.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in embedded systems and technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve field issues, providing timely solutions and support.

Required Skills :

  • Strong proficiency in Embedded C and/or C++.
  • Experience with microcontroller and microprocessor architectures (e., ARM, AVR).
  • Understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded Linux.
  • Experience with hardware debugging tools (e., JTAG, oscilloscopes).
  • Knowledge of communication protocols (e., UART, SPI, I2C, CAN).
  • Ability to read and interpret hardware schematics and datasheets.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent understanding of embedded systems concepts.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Bonus Skills :

  • Experience with specific industry protocols (e., Bluetooth, Zigbee, WiFi).
  • Knowledge of low-power design techniques.
  • Experience with embedded security and cryptography.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e., Git).
  • Experience with scripting languages (e., Python) for testing and automation )
