Position: Social Media & Community Executive

Experience Required: 6+ Years

Location: Mysore (On-Site)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Social Media & Community Executive to join our team in Mysore. This role requires strategic thinking, creativity, and data-driven decision-making to drive social media growth and build a vibrant community for our OTT app project. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of platform algorithms, hands-on experience with Discord and Reddit, and proven success in optimizing social media campaigns for performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy & Management

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media plans for the OTT app project across various platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok (X/Twitter), LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Manage content scheduling, posting, and distribution to ensure maximum visibility and reach.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice, tone, and alignment across all platforms.

Community Engagement

  • Build, grow, and manage active communities across social platforms.
  • Create engaging conversations, live sessions, and community challenges to drive participation.
  • Manage and moderate Social media tools to boost niche audience engagement. (Bonus:
    Discord and Reddit)

Optimization & Metrics

  • Continuously monitor, analyze, and optimize campaigns to improve KPIs such as:
  • Engagement Rate (likes, comments, shares, reactions)
  • Follower Growth Rate
  • Community Retention Rate (active members vs inactive)
  • CTR (Click-through Rate) on posts/ads
  • Video Views & Completion Rate for OTT content promotions
  • Conversion Rate (sign-ups/downloads attributed to social media)
  • Sentiment Analysis (positive vs negative engagement ratio)
  • Perform A/B testing on creatives, formats, and posting times to optimize performance.
  • Track and report campaign performance using tools like Meta Insights, YouTube Analytics, Google Analytics, or equivalent dashboards.

Collaboration & Partnerships

  • Work with content creators, influencers, and brand partners to expand reach.
  • Collaborate with In-House marketing, design, and product teams to align messaging with broader campaigns.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in social media strategy, execution, and community management.
  • Proven track record of scaling communities and optimizing campaigns for measurable outcomes.
  • Hands-on experience with Discord and Reddit engagement.
  • Strong knowledge of social media algorithms, trends, and analytics tools.
  • Advanced skills in data analysis and campaign optimization for performance marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with creative copywriting skills.
  • Ability to multitask and deliver results under deadlines.
