Job Description:

KMR Projects Private Limited is looking for a Purchase Executive to handle procurement operations, analyze material price differences across suppliers, and ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for vendor evaluation, price negotiations, and reporting directly to the Store Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and source construction materials as per project requirements
• Prepare and issue purchase orders
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors
• Monitor stock, material usage, and reorder based on site requirements
• Coordinate material delivery to site and follow up with suppliers
• Maintain vendor database and build long-term supplier relationships
• Compare quotations and maintain cost control
• Prepare purchase reports, documentation, and basic MIS updates
• Coordinate closely with site engineers, project managers, and accounts team

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction / infrastructure procurement (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, vendor management, and market trends.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Ability to handle multiple suppliers, contracts, and price evaluations effectively.
