About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Wireless Infrastructure Engineer with deep hands-on expertise in managing enterprise Wi-Fi networks using Ruckus, Cisco, and HP Aruba. The ideal candidate should be able to independently handle the full lifecycle of wireless networking from design and deployment to troubleshooting and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, and deploy enterprise wireless networks using Ruckus, Cisco, and Aruba solutions.
  • Configure and manage wireless controllers, access points, and related infrastructure.
  • Conduct wireless site surveys using tools like Ekahau / AirMagnet / NetSpot to ensure optimal coverage and capacity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve wireless connectivity, coverage, roaming, and interference issues.
  • Optimize wireless performance for voice, video, and data applications across different environments (offices, warehouses, campuses, etc.).
  • Implement wireless security protocols including WPA2/WPA3, 802.1X, RADIUS, MAC filtering, and guest Wi-Fi isolation.
  • Monitor wireless performance using Ruckus SmartZone, Aruba Central, Cisco Prime / DNA Center, etc.
  • Document network diagrams, configurations, coverage maps, and project reports.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for wireless upgrades, rollout planning, and incident resolution.

Must-Have Technical Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in configuring and managing:

  • Ruckus (ZoneDirector, SmartZone, Ruckus Cloud)

  • Cisco Wireless (WLCs, Cisco Prime Infrastructure, Cisco DNA)

  • HP Aruba (Aruba Central, Instant APs, Mobility Controllers)

  • Strong understanding of:

  • Wi-Fi Standards a/b/g/n/ac/ax)

  • RF fundamentals (RSSI, SNR, Channel Planning, Band Steering)
  • WLAN architectures (Controller-based, Cloud-managed, Mesh)

  • Wireless security protocols and AAA integration (RADIUS/LDAP)

  • Proficiency in using tools like Wireshark, Ekahau, AirMagnet, or other wireless analyzers.

Preferred Certifications (Good to Have):

  • Ruckus WISE Level Certifications
  • Aruba Certified Mobility Associate (ACMA) / Professional (ACMP)
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate Wireless (CCNA Wireless)
  • CWNA (Certified Wireless Network Administrator)

Project Experience (Mandatory to Include in CV):

Candidates must mention at least 23 wireless network implementation projects theyve completed, preferably involving:

  • Ruckus SmartZone or ZoneDirector deployment
  • Cisco WLC and Prime/DNA-based network rollout
  • Aruba Controller or Aruba Central deployments in multi-floor or multi-site environments

For each project, the candidate must include:

  • Client/Company Name (if allowed)
  • Location/Type of Environment (e.g., corporate office, warehouse, campus)
  • Number of APs deployed
  • Controller model and software version
  • Survey/Planning tools used
  • Proof of Work (Documentation, screenshots, ticket closure reports, etc.)

Soft Skills & Other Requirements:

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Good communication skills to coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal teams
  • Willingness to travel for project deployments if needed
