Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented International IT Procurement Specialist to manage and oversee global sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of IT hardware, software, and services. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of procurement processes in the IT domain, with strong vendor management skills and a solid understanding of international trade, compliance, and logistics.

  • Source, evaluate, and manage international suppliers for IT hardware, software, licenses, and services.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings and value optimization.
  • Execute procurement activities in compliance with company policies and global procurement standards.
  • Analyze vendor performance and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (IT, Finance, Legal, Operations) to understand requirements and support project goals.
  • Ensure timely procurement and delivery of IT goods/services across multiple geographies.
  • Monitor market trends and supply chain risks to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and invoices.
  • Ensure compliance with import/export laws, tax regulations, and country-specific IT procurement standards.
  • Work closely with finance to track budgets, reconcile invoices, and support audits.
  • Coordinate purchase orders, deliveries, and inventory management.
  • Ensure timely delivery of products to meet project deadlines.
  • Analyze procurement data to optimize cost and efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in international IT procurement or global sourcing.
  • Strong knowledge of IT products, licensing models, and service-level agreements.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and procurement platforms.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Understanding of global trade compliance, customs documentation, and logistics processes.

  • Ability to work across time zones and collaborate with international teams.

  • Experience working with vendors in International.

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, cloud, or SaaS procurement models.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or other analytics/reporting tools.
