About the Job role

Xperteez Technology
is seeking an experienced
Android Automotive Application/Framework Developer
to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of an advanced
In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI)
system for the next generation of electric vehicles.

You will work extensively with the
Android Automotive Operating System (AAOS)
and the
Android Open Source Project (AOSP)
to develop, integrate, and optimize applications and frameworks that enhance in-car digital experiences. This is an excellent opportunity to work with innovative automotive technologies in a dynamic, collaborative, and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using
    Kotlin
    and
    Java
    .
  • Build and extend Android frameworks to enable new functionalities and integrations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate applications and frameworks within AAOS/AOSP environments.
  • Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of software components.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
  • Maintain technical documentation and participate in code reviews.
  • Provide technical support for deployed solutions.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 3–6 years of experience in
    Android application and framework development
    .
  • Strong knowledge of
    AAOS
    and
    AOSP
    .
  • Proficiency in
    Kotlin
    and
    Java
    .
  • Experience in
    Android framework customization
    and
    system integration
    .
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with
    Car System UI
    ,
    Car Launcher
    ,
    HVAC
    ,
    Media
    , or
    Car Service
    development.
  • Prior experience in
    automotive infotainment systems
    .
  • Familiarity with
    modern development tools, CI/CD pipelines

    performance optimization
    techniques.

    processes and standards.
