Job Title: Machine Operator – Processing & Packing

Department: Processing / Packing

Reporting To: P & P Supervisor

Location: Hakimpet village, Masaipet - Medak

Industry: Seed Processing / Agri-Input Manufacturing

Job Purpose:

The Machine Operator will undergo hands-on training in operating and maintaining seed processing and packing machinery under the guidance of senior operators and supervisors. The objective is to develop the candidate into a skilled operator capable of running machines independently, maintaining quality, and supporting smooth plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Machine Operation Support

  • Assist senior operators in running seed processing and FFS packing machines.
  • Learn setup, start-up, and shutdown procedures for various equipment (seed cleaners, graders, destoners, treaters, FFS machines, etc.).
  • Support in material loading/unloading, cleaning, and changeover activities.
  • Observe and follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) carefully.

2. Quality & Safety

  • Learn to identify basic quality parameters (seed purity, weight, sealing, labeling, etc.).
  • Follow all safety and hygiene guidelines while operating on the shop floor.
  • Maintain housekeeping around machines and ensure a clean, safe work environment.

3. Documentation & Learning

  • Maintain basic records of daily activities, production output, and machine observations.
  • Attend all internal training sessions and skill development programs.
  • Gradually learn to handle assigned machines independently after training evaluation.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: ITI or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Agriculture / Packaging / Production preferred.
  • Experience: Freshers only (0–1 year).
  • Age Limit: 18–25 years preferred.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to plant operations.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and interest in machine handling.
  • Discipline, punctuality, and teamwork.
  • Willingness to work in shifts and follow supervisor instructions.

Training & Growth:

  • Duration: 6–12 months on-the-job program.
  • On successful completion, candidates may be absorbed as permanent Machine Operators based on performance.
  • Exposure to seed processing, packing, maintenance, and quality systems.

Work Environment:

  • Plant-based role involving physical activity and machine operation.
  • Must follow safety protocols, PPE usage, and company conduct policies.

Compensation:

  • As per industry standards for trainees, with performance-based increment upon confirmation.
  • Accommodation or meal facilities may be provided as per company policy

Job Types: Fresher, Internship

Pay: ₹8, ₹9,000.00 per month
