Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Visa Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide end-to-end guidance and support to clients applying for visas to Canada and the USA. This role requires in-depth knowledge of immigration processes, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for helping others succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Counsel students and professionals regarding visa processes for Canada and the USA.
  • Assist clients with the preparation and submission of visa applications.
  • Stay updated on changing visa policies and procedures for Canada and the USA.
  • Conduct eligibility assessments and provide accurate advice on visa requirements.
  • Review and verify documentation to ensure all requirements are met.
  • Liaise with immigration offices, embassies, and consulates as needed.
  • Follow up on applications and update clients on the status of their cases.
  • Handle client queries in person, over the phone, or via email/chat professionally.
  • Maintain proper records of client interactions, applications, and documentation.
  • Participate in seminars, webinars, and promotional events when required.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (any discipline).
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in visa counselling or immigration services (Canada/USA focus preferred).
  • Sound knowledge of Canadian and US visa regulations and procedures (student visa, visitor visa, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written); knowledge of regional languages is a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
