We are looking forward to onboard seasoned, process-driven, solution-oriented candidate for our Solar Cell Manufacturing.

Role Overview - The role involves managing Capex budgeting, cost control, and financial planning for large-scale solar cell manufacturing. The incumbent will ensure effective utilization of project budgets, compliance with financial controls, and timely approvals while coordinating across engineering, procurement, vendors, and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare annual and project-specific Capex budgets in alignment with business plans.
  • Obtain management approvals for budget allocations and revisions.
  • Track budget vs. actual expenditure on manufacturing plant projects.
  • Manage cash flow forecasting, cost-to-complete analysis, and Earned Value Analysis (EVA).
  • Work closely with engineering, procurement, and finance teams for Capex estimation and control.
  • Monitor vendor payments, billing, and cost commitments to ensure compliance with budgetary provisions.
  • Support techno-commercial evaluations for procurement of critical packages.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvement in Capex projects.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and financial guidelines (EPCG, M-SIPS, import duty benefits, etc.).
  • Present monthly budget and cost performance reports to senior management.
  • Support project closure with financial reconciliation and Capex utilization reports.

Job Specification

  • Qualification - Any Graduate/Postgraduate in engineering discipline. MBA will be a plus.

Experience

  • 5-10 years of experience Capex budgeting, cost control, and project financial management
  • Exposure to solar cell/module manufacturing projects will be a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, and reporting tools.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of Capex planning, budgeting, cash flow management.
