Strategic Account Manager

As a Strategic Account Manager, you'll take charge of strategic enterprise accounts, ensuring high-value client relationships, revenue growth, and exceptional service delivery. This is a customer-facing, quota-carrying role with immense growth potential.
Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for strategic enterprise clients. Build long-term, trust-based relationships by understanding client needs and ensuring satisfaction.
- Strategic Planning and Account Growth: Develop and execute tailored account strategies to achieve revenue goals. Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximise client value.
- Customer Success Focus: Drive client retention and satisfaction by ensuring timely communication, issue resolution, and delivering consistent service excellence.
- Revenue Ownership: Meet or exceed quarterly/annual revenue targets through proactive account management and opportunity identification.
- Internal Collaboration: Partner with sales, product, engineering, marketing, and support teams to create a unified approach to customer success and business outcomes.
- Reporting and Analytics: Track account health, generate actionable insights, and report key metrics to stakeholders. Use data to drive strategic account decisions.
- Contract Management Lead contract renewals and negotiations, ensuring win-win outcomes for clients and GoComet.
- Market and Competitive Insight: Stay ahead of market trends, competitor offerings, and logistics innovations to offer valuable insights to clients.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise account management, customer success, or sales roles (preferably in SaaS or supply chain/logistics tech).
- Proven track record of hitting/exceeding revenue and customer satisfaction goals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote-first team.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
