Title: SAP Basis Hana + Migration Consultant

Location: Pan India (Any Metro City)

Mode: Permanent with Nexucon

As an SAP Basis & HANA Migration Consultant, you will manage and optimize SAP landscapes, focusing on HANA database administration, system migrations, and conversions to SAP S/4HANA. Your role will involve technical leadership, project execution, and ensuring seamless integration with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.

Key Responsibilities

  • SAP System Administration: Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems, including HANA databases, ERP, CRM, and S/4HANA applications.
  • Migration & Conversion: Lead OS/DB migrations, S/4HANA conversions (System Conversion, Selective Data Transition), and HANA database upgrades (1.0 to 2.0).
  • Cloud Integration: Implement and manage SAP workloads on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  • High Availability & Disaster Recovery: Design and configure HA/DR solutions for SAP HANA environments.
  • Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize system performance, addressing issues proactively.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure SAP systems adhere to security standards, including Single Sign-On (SSO) and Infrastructure Security.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, migrations, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align SAP solutions with business objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in SAP Basis administration, HANA database management, and SAP S/4HANA landscapes.
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and SAP Cloud Platform.
  • Migration Tools: Familiarity with tools like DMO (Database Migration Option), SUM (Software Update Manager), and SLT (SAP Landscape Transformation).
  • Certifications: SAP certifications in OS/DB Migration, HANA DB, or SAP Basis Fundamentals.
  • Programming Skills: Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Shell, SQL, Python) for automation tasks.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation.

Preferred Skills

  • SAP BTP & AI: Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform and integrating AI capabilities.
  • Security Tools: Knowledge of SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) suites and Identity Management.
  • Advanced Monitoring: Experience with SAP Solution Manager 7.2, Focused Build, and Cloud ALM for system monitoring and management.

Educational Requirements

  • Degree: Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Relevant SAP and cloud platform certifications are advantageous
