Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales Executive with a passion for clean energy and technology to support the business growth of a leading sustainable energy company in Roorkee. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inside sales operations, engaging potential customers, building long-term relationships, and driving lead conversion for sodium-ion battery solutions.
This role requires strong communication skills, customer empathy, and the ability to translate technical product features into compelling value propositions for industrial and B2C/B2B customers.
Key Responsibilities
● Drive inside sales activities, including lead generation, qualification, and follow-up with prospective customers.
● Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive engagement and support.
● Collaborate with the marketing and business development teams to identify potential markets and new opportunities.
● Understand customer needs and provide suitable product recommendations and quotations.
● Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate records of customer interactions and sales progress.
● Support the preparation of sales proposals, presentations, and contract documentation.
● Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth handover of client requirements to operations and delivery teams.
● Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall revenue growth of the
company.
Qualifications & Skills
● Bachelor's degree or MBA in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
● 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in inside sales in industrial/tech/manufacturing/energy/battery or related sectors.
● Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
● Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
● Strong organizational and time management abilities with attention to detail.
● Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to learn about emerging technologies.
● Passion for clean energy, innovation, and sustainability.
