Internship Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Mechanical Engineering Intern
to join our team for a
6-month internship
. This opportunity provides hands-on experience in the
design, development, and prototyping
of innovative mechanical systems in the field of health and wellness. The successful candidate will work closely with our engineering team, contributing to real-world projects and gaining valuable industry experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Development
    – Assist in the design and analysis of mechanical components and assemblies, ensuring functionality, manufacturability, and compliance with engineering standards.
  • Prototyping and Testing
    – Support prototype fabrication, conduct testing, and assist in data analysis to validate performance and reliability.
  • Simulation and Analysis
    – Utilize CAD and simulation tools (FEA, CFD, etc.) to optimize mechanical designs and improve efficiency.
  • Material and Manufacturing Research
    – Explore suitable materials and manufacturing processes to enhance product performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Project Coordination
    – Work with cross-functional teams to support various engineering projects, ensuring smooth collaboration and timely execution.
  • Documentation
    – Assist in preparing technical drawings, reports, and design documentation for internal and external use.

Qualifications

  • Education
    – Currently pursuing or recently completed a
    Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
    .
  • Technical Skills
    – Proficiency in
    CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or AutoCAD)
    , experience with
    FEA/CFD simulations
    , and familiarity with
    manufacturing processes (CNC machining, 3D printing, injection molding, etc.)
    .
  • Problem-Solving
    – Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize designs.
  • Programming (Bonus)
    – Basic knowledge of
    Python or MATLAB
    for engineering simulations is a plus.
  • Communication
    – Good verbal and written communication skills to present technical concepts effectively.
  • Team Player
    – Ability to work collaboratively in a
    fast-paced, multidisciplinary
    environment.
