Tech Lead – Flutter , & MongoDB

Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India

Role Summary:
 As the Tech Lead, you will be the technical pillar of our Digital Chit Fund project. This is a hands-on role requiring you to take ownership of the application's architecture, guide the development sprints, manage the database, and mentor the development team to ensure the successful delivery of a high-quality product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership:
     Design and implement a scalable, secure, and maintainable full-stack architecture using 
    Flutter
    and 
    MongoDB
    .
  • Project & Sprint Management:
     Lead agile development cycles (sprints), manage tasks using tools like 
    Jira
    or 
    Trello
    , and facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Database Management:
     Architect the 
    MongoDB
    schema, ensure data integrity, and optimize database performance for financial transactions.
  • Code Quality & Review:
     Establish and enforce coding best practices, conduct thorough code reviews, and manage the version control strategy using Git.
  • Mentorship:
     Guide and mentor the frontend, backend, and intern developers, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Hands-on Development:
     Actively contribute to coding on both the Flutter frontend and the backend (e.g., 
    )
     as required to meet project deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience:
     5+ years in software development with proven experience leading small technical teams.
  • Frontend:
     Strong proficiency in 
    Flutter
    .
  • Backend:
     Expertise in a backend language like 

     (preferred), Python.
  • Database:
     Deep understanding of 
    MongoDB
    , including schema design, aggregation pipelines, and performance tuning.
  • Agile Methodologies:
     Demonstrable experience running projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
